Overall Rating: 8.7/10

What a great listen, and of course there's no doubt that Metro and Future have created it a classic album. That being said, there are some typical Future tracks, (having hard-hitting basses and dark trap melodies) but some of my personal favorites are "Everyday Hustle" and "Runnin' Outta Time." "Runnin' of Time" has melodic pads and an emotional piano that gives RnB vibes that I like to hear from Metro Boomin, and the electric guitar got me in the true feels. "Everyday Hussle" uses a great sample and reminds me of "Feel The Fyiah" off Metro's previous album. "Type Shit" is another track that's catchy and had great verses from Playboi Carti and Travis Scott. But the feature that took me (and everybody else) was Kendrick Lamar's verse on "Like That." Keep in mind he hasn't released anything since "Mr.Morale and the Big Steppers"." Going after both Drake and J.Cole, this isn't the first time Kendrick Lamar has called out/diss rappers and all of them have collaborated in the past. I'd understand why he'd go after Drake, but J.Cole didn't do anything. Maybe it's not that deep, but it can not go unnoticed. I just like how Kendrick Lamar completely rejected this friendly praise and is letting them know that he's the best and that's it. Going back to the album, it's got some great tracks, and recommend that you give it a listen. Keep in mind that they are also releasing the second album later in April of this year. Metro Boomin is having an outstanding run so far. Their next album is for sure going to break some records for sure. In general, I feel like this album is reviving hip-hop music to what is should be, and 2024 is going to be a great year for music.

Overall I'm feeling a good 8.7/10 for this album.
